Seat belts

Post by Mr Funk »

Been trying to fit the normal seats in the bandito but having trouble. The belt has wound itself right in and now it won't pull out, almost like the tensioner is on. I've tried easing it out but it keeps locking.
Can anyone help

Hi James,

Hold the housing of the belt in the same position as it would have being mounted in the car.

The gently push in a little bit if you can and then pull it out again.

This should work, it is a security thing so if the car is on its side or upside douwn the belt holds you in position.

Hey,

If it's wound in too far you might have to strip it down a bit so you can manually retract the locking mechanism.

Ben.

Looks like I'm going to have to strip it down.

Having played this game before, you need to get the seat belt reel at just the right angle for it to unlock. If you can have a look at the angle one is mounted at in the car and try to match it.

Managed to sort it. Held onto it and just carefully twisted it until they unrolled. Jackpot!
