thanks for the input guys, like the seat idea put forward, by the way it is a left leg amputation, below the knee, so i have no restrictions on my license, but find the seating positions of normal day to day cars very uncomfortable, as there is no where to move the limb, vans and wagons are ok because i can move the leg quite a bit, also the sitting upright does not produce pressure on the prosthesis, as for the wife's back physiotherapist says the disc is too thin and will not heal overtime, therefore she can not return to driving the rocco full time, but i will ask him on her next appointment, if any of your idea's may help her to drive the rocco again.
