Re: Introduce yourself
Hi,
I'm Tom 34 and live in the countryside of Dorrrrrrseeettttt.. As some might pronounce
I've currently changed jobs and now have more me time, and have always wanted a classic car to restore or get a decent one that i can tinker with. Have always loved the VW scirocco's.
My love is the Mk1 which i just adore! This is the car Im looking for before the wife changes her mind about me having one! My friends all have a classic each from a mini, to a renault 5 gt turbo to a MK1 golf..
Im hoping to join them soon on classic days out. They have a road trip to Germany arrange in the summer, would be nice to have one and go with them..
Regards
Tom

Re: Introduce yourself
Hello all, new to the forum today.I am from the Falkirk area in the central belt of Scotland and am currently in the process of hopefully buying my first scirocco. The car in question is a 1991 H reg Scala 1.8 in dark metallic green in tidy condition. Looking forward to being part of the forum and VW scene, maybe catch some of you at a show this year?
Cheers Chris
Cheers Chris

Re: Introduce yourself
Welcome along. Good bunch of Scirocco lads and lasses up in Scotland. A good show to attend is Volksfling held at Biggar, usually last weekend in May. Try to get along, we had 10 Sciroccos last year and always room for more!

Definately up for that, never been before but my uncle attended last year in his Corrado and raved about it
