right when i bought my car i knew it had a bent chassis leg but but drove fine couldnt notice it at all didnt crab or anything, but the time has come to strip the car and redo it, so im looking to sort the chassis leg out what sort of price am i looking at to get it put on a jig to straighten it out, it would be fine as it is but i think im just been a little picky , but i dont want to throw a load of money at the car for it to niggle away at me
cheers

Re: advice needed
my younger brother asked around a couple of years ago, and got a quote for 200 quid.
mind you that was for cash on a saturday afternoon !
Dont know if that helps out tho, but chance's are it may have already been on a jig.

to be honest the only way you can really tell is that 1 wheel sticks slightly out more than the other one and when i took the wheels off there were spacers on them so i took 1 of the spacers off and its not far off at all

Re: advice needed
if one of the wheels sticks out, then surely something more serious than a bend chassis leg? gonna be inner wing too?
are you sure it's not just the wing has moved? have you measured the track width?

Re: advice needed
think the best place to start would be doing a little bit of measuring and comparing the numbers you get to what they should be. this should point you in the right direction. when you know which bit is bent you can then work out the best plan of attack.
i used to have all the chassis dimensions for the mk2, but i can't find it now. anyone else got a copy? i think filmidget gave it to me
