Another random question, does anybody know the size/volume of an 8v combustion chamber? I'm trying to work out my CR, factory numbers state 8.2:1 but 1457/4 gives 364.25cc swept volume per cylinder, so even with a 36cc volume in the chamber (most 8v heads were 30cc IIRC) it'd be 11ish:1, and I had my head skimmed by an amount the engineer can't really remember. So does anyone have a factory number for the volume of the combustion chamber on a JB? to give me somewhere to start from?
