sunroof mech
ny sunroof mechanism is shot,can i get a completely new one inc the two wire runners and all the catches? at the moment it does nothing as the wires are not connected and alot of the mechanism seems to be snapped.many thanks.

You could visit your local dealer and ask them to print you the ETKA page with the picture of the sunroof and all the parts and the part numbers.
Then ask them what is still available, whatever isn't available you could look on the VW Classic parts website (the German one!) and go through every part number and see what you can still get from them.

I cannot help, but want to wish you luck !
I hate the darn tilt n slide mechanism, I have never had one that worked properly, always have bits broken etc and they are a swine to work on
