Parcel shelf clips

Hi guys I'm looking for a pair of parcel shelf clips for my shelf to fit into. At the moment, its just sat onto the sides, and each time I open the boot, it falls into the boot. Very annoying. I noticed someone was selling brass clips a while back, I'm just wondering if nyone knows where I can get ...

Re: Direct replacement speakers

speakers are on their way. When they arrive, do I need to change any wiring (add adaptors) or will the VW plastic plugs fit on them?

Re: How to swap odometers

yeah, I had a how-to guide I found online, but the link isn't working. I've taken the cluster assembly apart, but it seems some of the blue circuit on the back is held to the odometer with metal. Would be easiest if I didnt have to swap the odometers, if I could just adjust the mileage on it, then ...

How to swap odometers

Hey guys The clock in my instrument panel has blown (gone black) due to moisture getting in via a crack in the clear plastic. I bought a replacement set of dials, but the mileage on the new odometer is 50k more than mine. Can anyone tell me how to either swap the odometers over, or alter the mileage ...

Blanking off my aerial

Hey guys
I'm thinking of removing the aerial on my GT2, and fitting an interior aerial. Is there anything out there that would fit as a blanking plate to cover the hole, or would I have to improvise? Has anyone else removed theirs?

Cheers

would 17" fit?

Hey guys

I've been offered a set of 17" BBS alloys for my GT2 Rocco. Apparently theyre from a Corrado. Would they fit ok? My GT2 is as standard as they come, not lowered etc.

Thanx

Re: loose earth wire

Its been a couple of weeks, and along with re-attaching the earth, I've replaced the Dizzy and Rotor Arm. It seems to be starting ok now. First time every time. *touch wood*

Direct replacement speakers

Hi all

I'm looking to replace all 4 speakers in my GT2, as a couple of them have started 'crackling' when I play music loudly. Anyone have a link to some decent direct replacement ones? I'm not looking for 'top of the range ultra-bass' ones, just standard replacements

Re: loose earth wire

its hard to say if its giving me any trouble really. I changed the plugs about 6 months ago, but every now and then the car refuses to start. It'll do everything but fire up. I'm gonna get a replacement coil, and re-attach that earth anyhoo, and I noticed the Dizzy cap and Rotor Arm were filthy, so ...

loose earth wire

Hi all I've been having problems recently starting my GT2, which I think I have solved. While looking at the coil I noticed the earth wire from the coil strap is loose at the other end, and is flapping about. Does anyone know what its supposed to attach to? It's got a nut-hole on the end, so it must ...

Re: Random stalling - not sure why...

did you manage to find the cause of the problem?
We're having the same problems with our Golf Clipper, and I'm gonna take a look at the tank fuel pickup tomorrow.
I'm thinking of changing the fuel pump too, see if it makes any difference.
