This sounds crazy but the stretch is to make the car more functional. I would like to have a bit more meat on the tyres but then my arches would rub. I am not trying to be controversial I am just building the car for my personal tastes. :bye:

Last RHD scirocco to come to the UK for sale ( not expensive either!)
Whilst having a Sunday trawl through eBay I noticed the penultimate scirocco, according to the blurb VW kept the very last, it looks good, not rusty and seems cheap!
I thought about it for about 3 mins, till I decided I need to finish my mk1......
But someone else on here might give it the love it ...

The wings you have fitted have a rubber trim round the indicator. Ive never seen this before in any pictures but the wings ive bought for my car need that trim. are they factory or after market wings do you know?

The other thing to consider with the 'inner' parts of the plastic bumper ,is for some reason VW turned them upside down when the mounted them with the plastic cover, also if memory serves me well :scratch: I don't remember them having the recess ( where the rub strip sits ) in the face of ...

I had a short nose fastback ( in the 90's!) and had that painted a jaguar pastel yellow, a colour you often see on v12 e types, lovely colour, like you say a creamy yellow but not too pale ( still yellow) would look great with that interior!
