Hi all , can anyone tell me whether my 89 GT2 has a large or small spline steering wheel and are they interchangeable.

Just bought a 2 litre 16v ABF and box from a MK3 Golf GTi to drop into my 89 GT2 track toy over the winter; questions are:-
a) Is there an off the shelf 4 branch manifold I can buy that will fit this engine in my Rocco, or will I have to have one ...

Just done my first track day at Aintree, in my GT2 its an 8 valve fitted with twin 40 Webers, its on coilies and is stripped out with upper and lower front braces and a rear brace too.
Not the fastest car on track but it corners brilliantly and didn't let me down all day.

Took the trim off the bottom of the door in order to weld a plate in to sort out a rust hole in passenger door. Understand that I need to use Tiger Seal to refit door trim. Can anyone tell me where I can buy this stuff? :help: http://sciroccoregisterforum.co.uk/carforum/posting.php?mode=post&f=17#

Recently bought my 89 plate GT2 for track day use. Its been stripped out lowered etc and has a weber conversion.
Question is
What sort of power output did the original 1.8litre engine put out?
What power increase if any did the weber conversion give?
and what sort of power can I expect from a ...

Thanks everyone. I'll wait until we get a bit less rain and then tackle that lot. In the meantime I've bought a car cover which seems to be keeping any more water out and I've mopped the water up and will be running it regularly
