cheers dude, thats exactly whats happened, had seen another thread about it and checked this morning, mine is my daily driver tho so need to get it sorted pronto, managed to get back and forward to work today but dont think it'll last much longer, gonna get one of they repair panels ordered i think,

clutch pedal dropped to floor
was out and about earlier and after doing a little sliding round some roundabouts in the rain my clutch pedal has dropped to the floor pretty much, it still works and doesnt slip tho, but has to be pressed hard into the carpet before anything happens, its just loose and flappy up high, any ideas ...

got offered the twin 40s on a pinto manifold for £80, dont have the first idea where to look for a manifold to fit them to the kr engine or how much it would cost. ive got some mechanical knowledge but im no mechanic, changed an engine before but it was on an 82 mini and i had help lol. will this ...

ive currently got a standard gt2 as my daily driver but im wanting to give it a bit more va va voom at some point in the future, ive been offered a 1.8 16v engine, i think its a kr. its been rebuilt and ported/polished, and has mounts for a mk1 golf. theres no ecu or wiring or anything but it comes ...

hi all, new to the forum, from central scotland. had a scirocco for a while when i was 18, recently decided to punt the mk3 gti and get another. not long picked up a nice 91 gt2 from sheffield, its not perfect and has a few of the common faults, saggy door and leaky boot lock etc. but pretty clean ...
