Welcome aboard! :hi: Saw some photos of your car posted by Sean the other night and was very impressed. It's a beauty and I especially like the interior :vcool: though I imagine it's a bit tricky to keep it clean.

A couple of pics of the Scala. I'm hoping someone on here will recognise it as it has a distinctive REG and a 'Scirocco Club' windsreen sticker.

I bought it in August off a chap in Dudley. He'd had the car a year or two although it had been SORNd for some of that. I had a few new bits and pieces put on it as well as a bonnet and wind mirror respray since the paint was peeling.

He told me that a previous owner used to show it and you can tell, the interior is in very good nick and I feel an obligation to look after it better than I actually intended!

Anyone know any history?

Cheers

Michael

I've not been around long enough to help with the history though I'm sure there will be folks who can.

It sure is a nice looking car though and I love the registration. Skyrocket ..... FAB!

hi all, new to the forum, from central scotland. had a scirocco for a while when i was 18, recently decided to punt the mk3 gti and get another. not long picked up a nice 91 gt2 from sheffield, its not perfect and has a few of the common faults, saggy door and leaky boot lock etc. but pretty clean. its my daily drive and ive got a few plans for it. a good service and probably a set of budget coilovers to get it sitting nice is first on the list, need suspension anyway as i think a shock or two is gone at one side. its standard as they come atm apart from a weber carb and 8ball gear knob :good:

Hi and welcome.
Your car looks to be in great nick.
There are a few of us in the central Scotland belt.
As far as I know there are owners in Port Glasgow, Wishaw, Dumbarton area, Falkirk, Perth, Dunlop, Grangemouth and other location unknown.
There are also members around Aberdeen way who may be nearer to you depending on your location.
If you need any help or assistance just shout and I'm sure someone on here will be able to help you out .
