Don't know what this part is
All,
Second attempt at posting. I have been absent from this forum for a few years. My Mark 2 1986 GT S was restored and then sat for years. I have only just got her back on the road and TLC is required. I noticed this part was loose in the engine bay. I don't know what it is - can anyone identify ...

Gap in window scraper
All,
I got some outer scrapers for both windows from VW Heritage (part numbers 533-837-473 & 533-837-474). The problem is they aren't quite long enough and there is small gap at the bonnet end which will let water in. Anyone have a good idea on how to plug this gap to make it watertight? I was ...

Rattles from the boot
I have searched for this but didn't find an answer. My boot rattles a lot and it's a lot worse without the parcel shelf. Any ideas where these rattles come from and how to fix them? Thanks.

Re: Spotted
I don't think I have seen another Scirocco in Wimbledon aside from a faded red Mark 1 and a few Mark 3s (which don't count
)
I shall watch out for you . . .

Re: Spotted
I live in Wimbledon. I just drove past a silver GT parked on Arterberry Road, about half way up towards the village. F*** CDY - is that you?
Perhaps the sneaky thumbs was missed as it was sneaky!
Excellent! Another local rocco!
I saw you on St George's Road - I must admit, I had my arm around ...

Parcel shelf plastic pivot clip: 155867787
I have just picked up some brand new parcel shelf clips for my Mark 2. I think this has been mentioned on here before but someone maybe after these. They do exist!
They are VW part "155867787 CLIP"

Re: Rear wiper rarely works
Try another relay as well.
All. Thanks for the replies. Turned out to be the relay. All works fine now. Just in case someone needs the same part it's GSF part number 935VG0150 WASH/WIPE RELAY-REAR.
I also found this site useful to navigate the fusebox/relays:

Rear wiper rarely works
Hello all,
My rear wiper seems to have a mind of it's own. It rarely comes on, but then only makes five or so sweeps and then stops. The rear screen fluid squirter seems to work just fine. Any ideas?
