I've told the insurance that I can source all the parts but that just isn't their concern. As far as they can see thr car shouldn't be put bavk on the road.

Ah, she's boned. Both A Pillars are up and rippled. I knew it as soon as I looked at her. You could straighten her on a jig but the front leg is pushed into the bulkhead so I think his conclusion is justified.. (And believe me I tried to persuade him!)

I wouldn't recommend changing the hubs to get bigger brakes. I swapped mine after reading that this would be a good way to get some 256mm discs. It's not. I've got a Peliquin (I think that's how it's spelt) Imported from the states at around the £500 quid mark when the rest of the conversion was done.
Obviously I wouldn't be without it, if you don't mind a bit of tire squeel it'll pull you in whatever direction you can hold the wheel.
