I work at pilkingtons in Eckersall Road and have been driving from Redditch to there every day for 31 years most days in a Scirocco.
It's very very rare that I ever see any other Sciroccos on my journey.

I have had a similar problem to this in the past, loosing power/rough running around the 50 mph mark. It was fuel starvation caused buy the needle valve in the carburettor float chamber being loose dropping down and preventing the float chamber filling.

I have a Stormforce cover for my 85GT. It's very well made fits well dry's quickly and the under body straps keep it in place on a windy day. No replacement for a garage but a cost effective solution to keeping crustyness at bay.

I put any old shite in my 1.6 ew shitrocco and have done for 20 years, the 1.6 was meant to run on 2 star pez and theres a crappy little label on the flap that says 91ron to prove it.

This is the kit we use at work for plastic fabrication on ABS/polypropylene. Takes a little practice as it's very easy to over heat the material and burn the surface.
