think VW main dealer is out of the question

they wanted £48.95 + vat (£58.74)

for the pipe i could buy half a kit for that need to get back to the drawing board me thinks

cheers for that i have been through them all and no luck yet, will keep looking and contact samco and then vw on monday

cant belive a water pipe would be so hard to find

not tried main dealer yet will give them a call on monday.

not thought of euro car parts everytime i have ever got something from threre it has been wrong and involved a trip back across town for the right one.

how comes they are that hard to find?

i have tried looking for the part number online and all it brings up is companies in china making bits for bulk orders

mine is leaking and has a big split ...

thermo switch on radiator

Hi

got a slight leak under the car and i is the lower hose from the rad, i will get a new one of these now

the only other thing is that on the thermo switch at the bottom of the rad it had a slight leak this week but has not done it again since, i went to tighten it today and the largest spanner ...

cheers for that guide i will give it a go next weekend, i have just bought goodridge hoses from the classifieds on here and will be replacing the rear drums and shoes then give it new fluid and hopefully will be sorted

sory mate the pedel goes half way before it does anything and then not a great deal happens after that, they can lock if i leave it very late but that is rare.
i have got used to the brakes now but my wife cant get used to it

chers for the tips
there are no leaks from the lines, i will try and get the drums off and have a look and do the release trick as well. do i just push it in and pump the brake again?

will have to be next weekend now cheers though

poop brakes - help

Hi all

finally got round to bleeding all the breaks on the rocco last weekend and still no joy the brakes are poop.
The rear shoes have a good few mm left on them the front discs and pads are good.

i had a look around the master cylinder and found this
