Guy's thanks for the info - The car had a K Star originally and it broke! The K Star system is now old and generally considered dead so hence very hard to find anyone that could or might be able to repir/help. :read:

Well its essentially a 2.0 btm end with piper 285 cam and fast road head....... whats the sort of cost of the megasquirt you have done? Did you fit it?

Does anyone on here have any knowledge of changing the metering heads on the 1800cc gti engines??
What might be involved/required/problems???
I understand that the K-Jet fitted as standard cannot cope with extra fuel/air requirements when you tune this engine ie fast head/capacity enlargement ...
