Going from carb - k-jet I think you'll need to change the fuel tank as well as the lines so that you get the tank mounted lift pump. I'm not 100% on this but seem to remember reading that whilst considering options for my conversion.

Good evening gents,
I'm looking to fit a Mk2 16v KR engine into my 1993 Scirocco GTII. I'm aware of the basics of swapping an engine but wondered if I could have some help in case I've missed something.
