I'm having same issue on gtx mate... I am replacing external fuel pump and internal fuel pump and ignition switch .. hopefully solves the problem .

Thanks for all your help guys ... found out the warm up regulator was the cause of the problem.. the moment I timed it correctly the car just stall.. when I put another wur on it runs perfect now.

Right ... So I got the car back from the garage .. Went in with a high rev and not idling . Has now come back spullerting when I put my foot down.. gets to 3000rpm and just splutters. As if there is a blockage or something! Really not sure .. And still not holding a on idle. The matey who had it ...

I haven't checked to be honest... all I know is the accelerator cable is just sitting loose the screw doesn't even touch it .. I think it's broken..

They said it was leaking ... ok buddy will give that a go.
