Re: Is this standard? Brakes
Thanks. Can you replace these or at least get new washers for them, the rubber seems slightly coroded, I dont want to change master cyl and leave the tired rubber washers.

Is this standard? Brakes
I have had trouble with my rocco's brakes for some time, I have replaced discs, pads, shoes, cylinders and thoroughly bled. My suspicions lead me to think the master cylinder needs replacing so I have just bought one to fit. When inspecting the master cylinder currently fitted I noticed each of the ...

Re: IS there a difference between e36 & e46 fuel pipes?
James, tell me how you did this? What part did you cut off to reuse and how did you get steel pipe to fit? Forgive me if I'm missing how you did this I'm just curious as might be a method I can use.

Re: Advice required on filling underside hole
Sorry I should have explained better, its half way along the car behind the lip so wouldn't necessarily use the jack on that spot.

Re: IS there a difference between e36 & e46 fuel pipes?
I didn't fill with sand, which may be the reason for it splitting but I couldn't see at the time how packing it with sand would have prevented that from happening, but as suggested by yourself and others it could well do the trick. I'm going to get one sorted soon and I'll get back to you once I kno...

IS there a difference between e36 & e46 fuel pipes?
I'm thinking to re-attempt fitting a BMW fuel filler neck after last time it split under heat when trying to bend! I'm just wondering whether there is a difference between the e36 & e46 pipes as when I have looked for parts available those advertised as e46 seem to be the same if not similar sha...

Braking problems!
Having noticed when I apply the brakes there seems to very little application, I bled them to find no improvement. I then changed the shoes, drums and rear cylinders and bled some more, still no improvement. Front discs and pads are all new too. When I put my foot on the brake pedal there's very lit...

Advice required on filling underside hole
I have a smallish hole on the underside of the rocco, not big enough to replace/weld a section, just needs patching in my opinion. Its behind the jacking point say 1"x"2. I'm thinking the best way to fix this is to take the surrounding area back to the bare metal, apply a layer of rust pro...
