If I remember correctly the chap I got it from was a head VW mechanic and said it was for a scirroco as per the 53 but have never unwrapped it until now, it's been tucked away for so long.

Cheers guys just found out the storm has a 1.8 audi sport engine with cam fitted but the chap has said he has the original 1.6 and four speed box sitting for it phew!!!
I must say I quite like the red interior myself although the dash is badly split!!

Morning all, well finally got the rocco out of its 23yr hibernation and it took quite a bit of digging out but worthwhile, it's a79 model reg 8th aug, it's mostly all there and quite a lot of spares 2sets of wheels and spare sets of glass and lights, now for the fun to start!!!!

Hi all, new on here but I've just found and bought a barn find collection of cars including a 79 golf driver and a 79 scirroco storm silver green in need of restoration, also a 1981 early mk2 gt scirroco in black with early headlights
