Re: Headlight upgrade kit, plug and play
^^^ What James said! Couldnt keep the guy on track what with a sudden upturn of business in his daily job and less time to devote to it, shame as Daves kit would have been way superior to the heritage one in quality. I ordered one from them a while back and although it did the job (only on the ...

Re: Fuel Filler Neck no longer available
As far as I know, Joost (Blueshark) can do the filler necks, its just the end piece thats a problem (that the cap goes onto) but im led to believe that if you lop yours off and send he'll attach it.
Could be wrong about all or some of the above but Blueshark will put you right im sure

Re: use of stainless fastenings
Dont EVER fit stainless front anti roll bar clamps! One wrong move and they will snap, shoot upwards and rip right through your cv boots, just like the ones that were fitted to mine did!

Re: fuelling issue
right i think i had best post what happened the other day when James popped over!
Firstly he detached the vapour separator and connected a y piece which seemed to solve the dripping fuel issue but not the actual problem, turned out, right at the end to be the mix screw had caught on a bit of swarf ...

Front ARB clamps
Just a cautionary warning to anyone tempted to fit stainless outer clamps, mine was fitted with them, both snapped, shot up and tore thru both cv boots! Mark Carter over at classic vw sent two genuine vw ones to replace, much better as not being stainless, they have at least some "give"

Re: Headlight upgrade kit, plug and play
Guys id love to just say "Yep, got a load all made up, ready to go" sadly however we hit a few snags, biggest one was Dave the engineer must have misinterpreted what I said regarding the fog lights (or I said it wrong), basically we are short of a connector to plug into those, his supplier doesnt ...
