£ 2100 will buy my 80 gli mk1 scirocco with long mot and tax. forced to sell. :(

I would agree ebay may give an idea of value of a car, but as ebay is getting less reliable so less people are bidding and buying cars on ebay especially cars that must be inspected before bidding. the last couple of cars on ebay, one had had no mot in at least four years and still made nearly £2000...

the wheels i have have got 185 60 14 tyres. but maybe bigger size wheels may enhance the appearance.

im lowering my mk1 scirocco next week what looks better on 14" wheels ( possibly 15) , 40mm or 60mm. im not sure myself so i am hoping someone can give me some advice.

does anybody know if mk1 golf lowering suspension or just springs will fit onto my mk1 scirocco, my friend has some spare and i feel i may have more interest in my car for sale if i lower it and put some nice wheels on it.
