Re: Silver anniversary for my silver Scala!
So 3 bits done so far - firstly I had a look at the mirror and really the black surround was the problem, save for a small crack in the colour-coded part of the mirror. I sourced an old mirror from a red GT and removed the surround. I had to do this carefully so I didn't damage it, but once the ...

Silver anniversary for my silver Scala!
Hi all, according to the DVLA my Scala will be 25 on October 18th 2016, if you go by registration dates. Because of this, I have decided to make it my new years resolution to make it as nice as possible, as it needs some TLC :) below are the things I would like to sort by then - I will update this ...

Re: Show us your Mk2 - picture thread.......
I bought this scala in may, but we have both been through turbulent times in this past (almost) year. I bought this as a fun weekend car but it has become a daily driver. It has run well since a few incidents, one involving the engine bay being on fire when the ignition coil ruptured. :?

Re: Eefy's White Scala
Hey just wanted to say thanks for this post, I swapped my motor over today and found this guide really useful. The motor I bought off eBay had different power connectors so I had to do some faffing but otherwise pretty straightforward. Thanks! After buying a new blower motor of ebay a few weeks ago ...

Re: whats its worth?
For a start you would be well advised to put the original wheels back on and sell the BBS replicas seperate. Indeed people do like modded cars but I can say that they prefer to buy as original as possible as a starting point.

Re: Scirocco GT Restomod
So while I am waiting on some parts and my friend's expertise, the 256mm brakes upgrade is still on hold. I have been doing some more bits and bobs to keep me busy. I bought a charger for my battery as it was completely dead. After 3 hours on a 'fast charge' it could power the lights but no more ...

Re: Scirocco GT Restoration
A sunny day today so I did some little bits and pieces. I wanted to do more but time just flew. I replaced the passenger side wing with a newer model one, so the wings both have indicators on them now. I had a few problems.

Re: Spotted
Spotted the unmistakable low stance of a rocco in my rear view mirror today - turns out it was GTXTRA's A16 GTX looking very tidy. I last spotted him going onto the A3 southbound at New Malden in cool shades :)

Re: RED DEAD Revolver-Hopefully daily 89 Mk2 GT
oops, mine is standard carb, guess I need to sort that as well, LOL
Looking nice - wish I had the setup you had. *Dumb question alert* - what is the green thing to the left of the carb? I hope it's not important as mine doesn't seem to be conencted to anything :D
