Re: Show us your Mk2 - picture thread.......
That looks very nice indeed. I personally prefer the BBS over p-slots. They look very good on your car. Once you get the gear selection an brakes sorted it will feel as good as it looks. Good work matey!

That looks like a Scirocco should, low mean and simply. Did you use stock shocks with your Eibach springs? If so what is the ride quality like?eamon1.3 wrote:Eibach springs and nice set off bbs wheels, thats all she needs, besides a wash

Re: Restoring flat paint and full clean.
Like you say. I go by what I know to be good. I too find the sponge applicator very good for an even coat which is important. I may try another product when my current batch runs out. I have never tried the DoDo range so I may try them.

Thinking long term what do you recommend? I used these products because I had them and they do work I am always open to advise. Every day is a school day.

Restoring flat paint and full clean.
Just a few pointers for a great result. 1. Clean the car with Meguiars gold class car wash. 2. Meguiars Clay bar system (or any other clay bar )one panel at a time to ensure you do not become impatient. 3. Stage 1 Meguiars deep crystal. 4. Stage 2 Meguiars Polish. This must be spread thinly and ...

Re: thinking ahead
I have just been down this road myself. I ended up with an alpine 103BT. This has built in Bluetooth hands free so no geeky bits. It has an iPod connection which I put in the glove box out the way. It also has an aux line in on the front and a USB for flash drives. It will play mp3 CDs and best of ...

Re: 1988 Helios Blue GTX
Got my car back from AutoMark in Stockesley. It is a different car now. Idle is 850 solid with no dips or lumpiness. Drives very smooth and starts first time on the button. Very pleased. I have started the bodywork now. There was some very small splashes of white paint all over the car like a fine ...
