I had a crack in my radiator so I ordered a replacement off eBay (one of the £30 after market ones) and it's a fair bit larger that my original.
I don't mind as I figure it's probably better for warmer days or sitting in traffic, but now of course my fan shroud doesn't fit.
I've looked on eBay for a replacement and can see again there is two different sizes.
Does anyone know why? Are they different for EX and DX engines or something?
I've zip tied one half of the shroud until I get it sorted.

Re: Mk2 radiator question
Sounds like you've bought an injection rad (DX) for a carb car (EX) There's 2nd hand larger cowling's available on ebay but not sure about the logistics?

Re: Mk2 radiator question
The injection cars have a 525mm radiator, hence why your EX shroud doesn't fit!
