stereo wiring?

stereo wiring?

Hey im just about to put a cd player im my mk2 gt2
as it had nothing when i got it and I was wondering if anybody could help me with
which wires are witch on the car as they dont match up to
the units iso block.
any advice would be much apreciated

You most probably need an ISO adaptor harness thing;

One of these, get them from just about any decent halfords or motor place thingy.

I have just done mine on the attached thread.

Ironically the stereo works better than it did in Citroen which it came out of as it now has a memory, even though it was connected via a proper connector in that. On this i just cut the wires and connected them all together (With a fair bit of help, as you will see on the thread).

I changed the speakers too so just looked at the colour of the wires at the speakers to see which ones to wire up to the stereo (although 2 did change colour en-route).

Sorry I forgot to mention that all the wires for the power block are cut and not
attached to anything. But the speaker block is wired up.

Any time Stu, we have to help one another on here.
I recommend Pioneer 6x4's, 110 watt, fit straight in with no cutting or butchering involved.
