Scirocco Register

a 16v KR alternator will fit my 1.6 GT 8v???


sorry for posting this in the wrong section but i needs some advice quickish and not everyone check electrical that often!!

The alternator has packed up so need to replace it and have the one off the KR engine im building sat in the garage, was wondering if this would do rather than forking out for an 8v alternator for only another month or so's use

Just had a look on Wagenstad, looks like it will fit, well worth a try.

only real worry is the pulley sizes

the mountings are all different!! damn it!

Anyone got a spare they can get to me in cambridge super duper quickly!!!???
