carb rubber mount

this all due to my stupidity. i set about fitting a nice weber to my mk2 gt. i undid the wrong bolts ontop of the pierburg and pulled. it came uff really easily. the i realised that what was underneath didn't look ring. the rubber carb mount had pulled clean in half, with the carb mounting bolts and the top half of the mount still atatched to the pierburg and the bottom half still on the manifold :dash:

the two parts fit perfectly together... but obviously it aint air tight / secure. would i be alright to bodge it together with some silicone until i get my hands on a new rubber? just to get back on the road.

also where can i get a rubber mount from?
thanks.

i wouldnt bodge it back together, i doubt you will get a good seal and your car will run shit...

i didnt tighten one bold on my intake mani enough when i put my weber on and it wasnt running well at all, and that was just one bolt!

i cant think of anything apart from wait for the new mount
