I've recently picked up a set of GTI headlights, but the drivers side mail lamp has a crack in the glass

Dealers discontinued these in 2008 apparently, anyone know where I may be able to buy a new one?

MRMENDER has a gti light fetish. He can tell you any number of applications for the lights. I think he would also advise you to find your local Hella stockist. They are still available new, but aren't cheap.

i think that older isuzu NQR trucks (pre 2005-ish) have them too. if you can supply me with some pics/dimensions i'll check them out, as i conveniently am employed by an isuzu dealership

Have you got part numbers for them for the bus applications as my dad has a lot of dealings with Volvo and a few others. May be worth an ask.

Cheers

They were used on the early 80's Quattro and coupe as well.

May be worth looking at VW classic parts as well.

well, Renault are useless, they couldn't look up parts without a reg number :ire:

Local Hella dealer however was great, £37 for a new unit, which isn't as bad as i was expecting!

Just need to get the light frames refurbished and I'll be good to go, Thanks guys!
