Fuel Lines

When Working on my 86 Gt I found that the fuel lines were corroded badly up by the front
subframe.
What I used to replace these was 5/16 copper pipe I got off a car restorer.
Made the job of replaceing the supply and return pipes a doddle. Was able to fashion it to fit into the holders
all along the underneath of the car the only awkward bit was running it up by the subframe.

That and new flexi pipe as well as a new weber have made a job of this part of the car.
Now I must take off the fuel filler neck and have a look

i may be having a special moment, but i don't remember the mk2 having a subframe?

Apologies for my terminoloy I meant
where the fuel lines comes up into the engine bay
