Red/White, blue/white

Post by Mr Funk »

Morning all.
Been relaying all the wiring and thought I'd got everything then realised that the above wire was, um, spare.
It runs straight off the mfa unit and appears to run into the engine bay. If anyone could tell me where it goes I'd be most pleased

Right, slightly confused, lol.

So bit of clarity, is it a white wire with red and blue traces on it?

Nope. It's a plug with two wires - one white with red traces the other is white with blue.

You mean it runs from one of the plugs at the bottom of the clocks?
Which plug and what number wire?

Oh, and what year is the car/wiring?

Is the 2 pin plug behind the fusebox/relay plate ?

If so, then the wire in the engine bay runs to the Ambient Temperature Sensor, which sits in the rear of the bumper on the offside.

You will probably find the wire follows the route of the headlight loom.
