Scirocco Register

I dragged my Mk1 out of Storage in May last year... my intention was a couple of months of hard graft over the summer, and then get it in for paint...


Spoke to the bodyshop who had a slot in December, so was aiming for that. Then they rang to see if they could have it early as they had a job cancel and needed a couple of days work... then situations conspired to push it back.
Good news is, work has started again :D

This is the first time ive seen it since December :D



Excited? YEAH!!!!

Hoping to have it all sorted for June ready for a trip to Hannover, Wolfsburg, and of course Osnabrück :D

They guy is "old school" not a modern day bodyshop, so it will be a good job. I dont care how long... its been 10 years since i last drove it legally anyway so he's doing a through job. He did the paint on my old T3 Westy, so I know he's good...



just have to find the money to pay for it all now

Who's doing it for you? I'm looking for a decent painter in the North East, and a testimonial is better than me trolling round looking for someone half decent!! :D

See, time really does fly!

Just over 2 years, and 2 bodyshops later, I got my car back last week!

Its certainly strange seeing it all one colour again after all these years!
