Quick braided brake hose Q

I'm fitting mk2 g**f Discs all round to the scala, Will i need the 6 hose braided line kit or 4?

Also anyone know a good supplier? they're flippin expensive :shocking:

If you have discs at the rear, then you will need a 6 hose kit. The 4 hose kit is for cars with rear drums.

at the back there will be 2 flexis from the underside of the car onto the rear beam, then another 2 going into the caliper

I think GSF do the braided hoses, they certainly did the 4 hose kit a little while ago, and with your Paid Up Member Discount .......

I was thinking that myself...

Do you know what the quality is like? I've heard it's not worth getting anything less than proper stainless ones as the others corrode pretty quickly

The ones I got were Goodridge, but with the zinc plated, rather than stainless steel ends.

the braided hoses i got from gsf were goodridge too. once fitted, just put a very thin smear of grease over the ferrules and they'll last forever. ones with stainless ferrules will be much harder to find as they will never need replacing, so they will only ever sell you 1 set ;)
