Scirocco Register

Bit of an odd one this and I only just kept my eyes open using the search function to find no other similar problem.

Any time I select reverse it blows number 15 (reverse light switch) then if i switch off the engine say to park up, it wont re-start unless the fuse is replaced....How weird!

Anyway, I disconnected the reverse light switch and it stopped the fuse blowing like you'd expect so that needs replacing first.

Just seems strange it wouldn't re-start???

First check the rear clusters, you are looking for corrosion and a possible short.

this is a dx engine
