Getting paint off badges

Post by brewstu »

Hey all. At some point in my cars past some idiot has slapped loads
of red gloss paint all over the badges on the back of the car. Its all lumpy
and looks really bad. Ive tried to get some of it off with a green scouring
pad and white spirit but it takes ages and is hard to get in the dips.
Anyone got any good ways of removing the paint without dammaging
the badges themselves?
cheers
stu

Thinners or nitromors bud, depends exactly what type of paint is on them, dont leave it on too long though or it'l start to melt the plastic. Other alternative ios just replace the badges, put an add in the wanted section and you'l probably get fixed up for a couple of quid.

Don't ask me....it was like that when i got here !
