Scirocco Register

Just curious, has anyone tried putting MK2 Golf lights onto a Scirocco yet?
These lights..?

doesnt work...theyre toooo big! unless you mod the bumper and/or bonnet!

Could use for the the inner spot lights..

It'd be very similar to a MK1 Rocco then, just curious.

Anyone fancy trying to mock one up on photoshop?

are they E30 lights then? must admit that looks stunning, did you make the grill? if so how, modified mk1 grill?

standard mk1 Scirocco lamps and grille, modifed the brackets and grille to fit the mk2. BMW lamps are same size as the mk1 Scirocco lamps so are a direct fit into the brackets with some jiggery pokery at the wiring end.

I followed the technote on the Vintage Watercooled website, but its not quite as straightforward as the author makes out, lots of measuring and cutting to get it right, for both the brackets and the grille, and various ways you can go with the electrics, but worth it i think.

Can they not fit onto a Mk2 then? They do look bloody ace.
