Scirocco Register

Hi chaps can anyone tell me what the relay numbered '1' does as mine seems to crackle or buzz when i rev the engine up, its not the relay as i have replaced it chers simon

there's a layout of the fusebox in the haynes... the numbers printed on the top only show the operation of the relay, not the function they perform on the car... that, and they've altered numbers/replaced some with others over the years (if you see what I mean) ... If you don't have a Haynes, a description of where it lies in the box'd be more useful.
