I would say 800x600 is a sensible size. Don't know about anyone else but I like to see the pics appear at the right size and not thumbnailed as I cant be bothered to click on them individually to see. Would rather just see them all :)

Its the same with pics on the Imp Club forum (which is run on phpBB too).

Its a pain resizing the photos and because of this a lot of people dont post them and just put on links or no photos at all, which is a shame.

If you load them onto photobucket and click edit, you can resize them easily to the correct pixel size, and its all free.

However if it can be done that the forum resizes them then its a winner all round. When you have figured it out, let me know so i can advise the peeps at the Imp Club.

so glad that you can switch off the sigs, avatars, smileys and all the annoying knicknacks on this new forum!! is nice. It does need the club logo putting on the top of the page though!! apart from that GOOD WORK

As mentioned by Ant if any of the IT gurus do have access to the code re resizing pics then we can do something.

siggies and avatars seem fine size wise to me, edited stuff in photobucket without problem.

Can you nick some of the code from the old forum for the pics as that used to resize them automagically ...

How do all,

having a problem uploading photos from photobucket, keep getting this error-

It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image.

I've already resized the image to below 800x600 and still getting the error!!!!!!

Has anyone else had the same problem????

Don't upload it, try linking to it eg.

But without the X's - that should work :)

Before you do - just check the size by right clicking on them and choosing properties...the size will be listed there. :good:
