replacing heater air blower.

The fuse for the air blower keeps shorting every time I turn the blower on, which then obviously doesn't work..

so I'm guessing my air blower motor needs replacing. What's the best way to replace it? Disassemble the dash or from behind the scuttle panel? The Haynes manual is a bit vague on which way to take it apart.

Any ideas?

Change the switch first, a damn sight cheaper and easier and keep your fingers crossedc that it is that which is faulty.

There's also the fact that changing the blower requires taking the whole car apart just to get at it (I AM exagerating).

Seriuously though, it's not one of those simple jobs that you think... ooooh, I'll just pop out n change the blower.
