MK1 Radiator

Hello, Can anyone tell me where to get a 1980 GLI Radiator from, just spent 50 mins at GSF and came away with the wrong one :roll: Cheers Bill

171 121 253 G on the top of the rad, but can only find 253 F on the interwed, :dash:

I have had a look on ETKA for you mate, doesnt look like VW stock them anymore :(

It is still available from Volkswagen Classic Parts in Germany - but the cost is 163.86 euros !!!!!!

Have you got a top fill radiator or does yours have an expansion tank on the driver's suspension turret?

A 525mm core should fit, although I think the original radiator is slightly smaller.

Top fill, and got feet, not pins on the bottom. just trying to justify spending the money. :scratch:(BEER/RAD BEER/RAD)
