Oil change :S

Just about to drain the rocco as i hvnt changed the oil since i bought her (naughty i know!!) and reaslied that i actually dont know how much to replace. Anyone able to fill me in on a rough amount? I'm gunna be using 15w/40 as well, part synth. Sound good?

Put in 3.5 litres then turn the engine over to fill the new VW filter (I hope you are fitting!). Switch off then wait a few minutes for it to settle then top up with another half litre, should take about 4 litres. Oil sounds good.

Cool, ta. I've got a hellfrauds one (which having now read the most numerous i await punishment for) ... so i'll probs change that when i get back to uni. Sadly its a sunday... and my car currently has no oil so it'll have to do! They cant be that bad anwyay surely?!

I'm sure it will do but you probably paid £6 ish for it when one from the dealers is only £2.80 and it is pukka!

anyway just been for a drive and she sounds smoother! Not sure how much of that is me wanting her to though
