16v 4 branch question
i've been offered a mk1 golf 16v 4 branch but its for a 2ltr 16v, would this fit? i've heard that the 2ltr is taller than the 1.8 kr?

The ABF 2l is taller by about 15mm but the 9a and other Audi variants are the same block ( referred to as bubble block iirc) as KR which is same as DX etc so it should be ok as these are/were the more common upgrades.
Apparently the dreadful paint on my Rocco is PATINA....
