Bleed nipple size?

Hi,

I want to replace the front bleed nipples and have no idea what size they are.
I bought two from GSF today but they are far too small (not sure if they gave me the right ones as they look more like the rear cylinder ones.)

The current ones are a (well rounded!!!) 11mm Head so would a pair of M10 x 1 be the right ones?

Thanks

Sounds like they gave you the M7's... so yeah, M10 would be the right size, butthat's based on my 89 rocco...

After looking on here and other places it seems the bleed nipple will be either M10x1 or M7x1 and according to VW Heritage and Ebay both sizes could my car!!. Do you guys know which would be on a 1988, GT?

Cheers

lol i had this earlier
your front ones will be m10 or the smaller m7
the 6mm one is for the drum slave cylinders at the back.
on my 1990 mk2 gt2 i needed the m10 ones
on my 1988 mk2 gtx i needed the m7 ones.

from the sounds of it 11mm head is the m10 but take the old ones out and measure the thread width it will be quite obvious what size it is then
