i've just bought a pair and hear they're an ideal upgrade for a scirocco. Just concerned i might have to do lots of fettling to get them in though. Will i or are they on the same base as the original scirocco ones? Cheers.

Dead easy. Remove the runner covers, undo bolt, slide seats out, new ones in, replace bolt and cover, drink tea and drive round like a midget pimp.

Sweet. So the base is exactly the same then. Just gonna get the bolsters covered in carmine red first to match the rest of the interior. I'm using fabric from an old bench. Hopefully it'll prolong their life too. Can't wait.

I want to swap some bits with bits on my scirocco seats first. Want to keep some of the red bits, plus the bolster on the base of the corrado driver's is knackered. Fancy trying to do some re-working of them with me?

It's the rear bench I'm most interested in finding out what modification is required (not that it matters for me as I'll be retrimming whatever goes in myself anyways)

Hi there just in the middle of fitting the corrado rear bench in my mk1. I could not get the two seat pads to fit so i've cut up an old mk1 seat base. Also the rear seat back is shorter, so had to pad out the rear door cards. I will take some pics and post them on later.

Very tidy work there matey and a very doable mod... Now to find a Corrado interior with the humpy rear bench

AND, you've just created somewhere for hte rear speakers to go

I've also got Corrado front seats but with 924 backrests. They have now been finished in red leather.
