3rd brake light

did anyone on here ever fit a 3rd brakelight to their rocco? i am toying with the idea as i've had a few near misses with clowns daydreaming behind me.now i know 3rd brake lights were fitted as standard in the usa, but i don't think they were ever fitted to european spec scirocco's. so did anyone ever get one fitted or even know the vw part no? if i cant get an original one,maybe something from another car,somthing that would look near enough original.thanks

i fitted an original one but i cant remember where i got it from, as it was years ago, i'll see if i can find a part no on it!

The only numbers i can find are ULO 305 30 03 and ULO 305 30 04, one is on the bulb holder section and the other is on the main part that the bulb holder fits into.

this was fitted to the 16v years ago - apptly a USA market OE one.
will check for part numbers tomorrow.

If you have the patience until Tuesday I will have a look at my work what the partnumbers are,
what the prices are and if still available.

These are not the part numbers you need to order from VW.
I will look them up tomorow and place all the info in the evening.
