I need some advice guys - I need to replace the suspension on my 92 GT2 and i would like to lower it a bit as well. Would coilovers be ok? If so what do you think about these couple that i have found on fleabay?

I'm just on a bit of a budget as i have spent a load of cash on the zed this week, and the missus's argument against me having 2 cars is starting to make more sense (well this month anyway) - just dont tell her i said that

Basically, if you are on a budget get the best you can afford and at that price you don't want adjustable coil overs. Get some fixed ride height kit that is of a better brand name.

I got myself some inexpensive (not cheap lol) coilovers from Germany and they have been great, they are firm but then I do run it quite low. They are handy as I have upped it whilst I was moving house, then decked in time for show season, it takes like 20mins a corner.

But you get what you pay for I guess, I have not driven a Rocco with a nice Spax set up etc so I can't compare the two.

The jom coilovers are pretty good value for the money. The ride is firm but not over the top hard ie like fillings fulling out.
I got a secound hand pair of supersport fixed suspension, lowered the car around 40mm and was a real nice drive again not mega firm, and defo not soft.
Think the company the sell them are in cornwall. nice price as well..

I have the first set of coilovers you posted, however I have swapped the springs for a set of Eibach springs (300lb front and 350lb rear) to give it a more twitchy feel. It's a hard ride and little road imperfections are turned into mountains, however, stick it onto that smooth bend at a ludacris speed and it all makes sense.
