Seen a Mk2 1.6 GTI for sale.

Any tips on what to be aware of to look out for?

Is this the same engine as the Mk1 Golf GTI? What performance- BHP etc?

I used to own a GTII auto, and regretted selling it so looking again for a nice Mk2.

Yup, the same fuel-injected 1588cc engine as the Mk1 GTI, 110bhp. They're a rare beast in Rocco form
