got to unbolt the rear axle i believe. not necessary to take it off completely. undo pipes and plug from inside the car. undo arch liner to get the breather pipes etc. the supporting bolts should come off the tank ok. should just fall out then. not too sure exactly cos i only took one off the scrapper and it was upsidedown at the time! prob and hour or two depending on rustyness of bolts!

Yup, as above. But when you drop the rear beam be wary of the brake lines, cos once you've undone the bolts to the beam it'll be the lines that take the weight! That's providing you're gonna have the car on axel stands, and if so have something to support the wheels of your 'Rocco. Realitively easy job, but a little time consuming and can be fiddly! Rusty bolts could well be a problem, though

Luke, take the beam out completely mate. Its the ideal opportunity to poly bush it and also fit braided brake hoses at the same time. Plus once its out its a doddle to swap the the tank.
