Took my Storm in for an MOT today, failed on a bulging brake flexi, so happy with that as the flexi's are £8. That will be fitted tomorrow and will get the pass certificate for another 12 months.
However my issue is the car is refusing to start, changed the fuel pump relay to no avail and the other obvious things are spot on. The garage I use have narowed the fault down to the distributor!
Can anyone tell me if there is a difference with the distributor from my 84 Storm to say a later Scala or GTX?
I am in a bit of a rush as I am back down in Essex on Sunday evening.
Thanks for reading.

Re: My Storm
From memory I think some (most) cars have Bosch dizzys, whilst some are fitted with Ducellier ones. It's probably a matter of looking at the dizzy.

Re: My Storm
I should be taking the dizzy off tomorrow and having a look but it is the issue of getting a replacement in the short time I have!

Re: My Storm
Got the dizzy sorted today and through the MOT, happy with that.
Still have a running issue though, I think there may be a problem with the metering head, so I've left it in the capable hands of my mate in his VW/Audi specialists, it will be sorted by the time I get back up to Durham in a couple of weeks.
