Leds in dash clocks

Anyone has this problem?

The green led for the indicators in the dash clocks has ceased to work. This has happened
several times before, and I replaced it from a spare set of clocks about 6 months ago.
It worked until recently. Is there anything that could make this keep blowing?
The other leds are fine. Only thing I've noticed is that because the cars got a Alarm / Immobiliser when you arm the
alarm the indicators flash, not sure if this could cause it.
If I replace the led again, what type should I use? As far as I can tell they are all 5mm leds 3v apart from the high beam
which is a bulb with a blue cap.

Thanks in advance.

Odd, my main beam LED has bitten the dust too. Got a brand new one from VW, was only a couple of quid. Best to get one from there dude.

By the way, was out near you this afternoon!

Cheers for that mate.
You were in my area then eh? :good:

Will prob get one from the dealers, would be good to find the spec of the LEDS, that way could
order some from RS Components or Maplin.

Yes dude, popped over to Stratford today, went past Inkberrow, Alcester, Arrow ect. Lovely part of the world :chill:

Let me know how you get on replacing your LED, plucking up the courage/motivation to do mine still
